the creative department

SpeedXMedia's creative department covers two things: the work itself, and the direction that keeps every piece of it looking like one brand.

Design makes the assets a brand runs on. Logos and identity systems, graphic design for print and screen, websites and interfaces, decks and campaign artwork. Art direction sets the look those assets are made against, then holds every piece to it, from the first mood board to the final cut.

Both sit in the same team, so a campaign, a website and a single social post come out of the same room and read as one brand. Work starts with your positioning and your audience, the direction is agreed before anything is built, and you get the finished files with the guidelines that keep the next piece on brand.

Dates are set at kickoff and we hold them. When a launch will not wait, we can run a rush schedule.

Design

Distinctive visual identities, marketing materials, digital assets, and brand systems that resonate.

Design or Art Direction

The two get used as if they were the same job. They are not, and knowing which one you are buying makes the brief a lot shorter.

Design

makes
The finished pieces. A logo and the identity system around it, a website, an interface, ad units, print collateral, a deck.
buy it when
You know what has to be made, and it has to be made well.
you get
Files you can use, on brief and in the formats the work needs.
Open Design

Art Direction

makes
The visual framework. Mood boards, style frames, colour and typography, photography and animation direction, the guidelines.
buy it when
Several pieces have to look like one brand, across a campaign, a site and a feed.
you get
One person accountable for how all of it looks, from the first concept to the finished asset.
Open Art Direction

For a single asset you need one of them. For a launch you usually want both, and both sit in the same team here, so nothing has to be brokered between two vendors.

What We Make

Everything below is produced by this department. Each link goes to the service page for that work.

Brand identity

Logo design and the identity system around it: colour, typography and the rules that keep a mark recognisable wherever it lands. The mark is designed against your positioning, not against a trend.

Graphic design

Print and screen, in one system. Brochures, flyers and business cards. Social graphics, email templates and digital advertising. Packaging, presentation design and the rest of the collateral.

Web and interface

Responsive websites built on the identity rather than around it, and UX/UI work that starts with research into what people are trying to do on the page. Responsive is standard here, not an upgrade.

Motion and campaign direction

Motion graphics worked up from style frames and storyboards: logo animations, explainer videos, social cuts and data visualisation. Campaign art direction covers mood boards, photoshoots, animation supervision and the style guide that holds the set together.

the process

How We Work

  1. Brief

We start with your positioning, your audience and what the work has to do. That sets the scope, the deliverables and the dates.

  2. Direction

Mood boards and style frames before anything is built, so the look is agreed while it is still cheap to change.

  3. Production

Design, copy and motion are produced against the agreed direction, with an art director accountable for how the set holds together.

  4. Handover

Final files in every format the work needs, plus the usage guidelines that keep the next piece on brand.

Typical timings: a simple asset in 3 to 5 business days, a branding project in 2 to 4 weeks, a large campaign in 6 to 12. Dates are set at kickoff, and a rush schedule is available when you need one.

All questions Answered

Graphic design, art direction, copywriting, motion graphics, branding and experiential marketing. We take a project from strategy and concept through to the finished work, so every piece comes out of the same room and looks like it belongs to the same brand.

It depends on scope, complexity and what has to be delivered. A simple design project can start at $500 to $1,000. A full campaign runs from $5,000 to $50,000 and up. We quote after a discovery call, and you can work with us by project, on retainer or by the hour.

A creative agency offers broader services beyond just design, including copywriting, art direction, experiential marketing, and strategic creative planning. Design agencies focus primarily on visual design work. Creative agencies like SpeedXMedia provide integrated solutions where design, messaging, and experiential elements work together cohesively to achieve marketing objectives.

Simple design assets take 3 to 5 business days. A full branding project takes 2 to 4 weeks, and a large campaign 6 to 12. We set the dates at kickoff and keep them, and we can run a rush schedule when you need one.

SpeedXMedia works with businesses of all sizes, from startups needing their first brand identity to enterprises requiring ongoing creative support. We scale our creative services to match your needs and budget, ensuring exceptional quality regardless of project size. Many of our long-term clients started as small businesses and grew with our support.

Yes, both ways. If you have guidelines, we work inside them so every asset looks like it came from the same brand. If the guidelines are the problem, we can update them. Creative and brand strategy sit in the same team here, so a refresh is a conversation rather than a hand-off to another vendor.

Every engagement runs from strategy and concept development through final execution. We start by understanding your positioning and audience, develop concepts against that strategy, then design, write and produce the assets, checking in with you at each stage so the result is yours and the schedule holds.

Design makes the individual pieces: a logo, a page, an ad unit, a deck. Art direction sets the visual framework those pieces are made against and keeps every one of them to it, from mood boards and style frames through photoshoots and animation supervision. For a single asset you need one of them. For a campaign you usually want both, and both sit in the same team here.

Yes. Motion graphics are animated design: type, shapes, icons and data brought to life, which suits explainer videos, social content, logo animations and data visualisation. We work from style frames and storyboards, so the look is agreed before the animation starts. Delivery is MP4 and MOV, platform cuts for Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn, GIF for web, and the After Effects project files on request, in 16:9, 1:1 and 9:16. A 15 to 30 second social animation runs $500 to $2,000, and a 60 to 90 second explainer $3,000 to $8,000.

The finished files in every format the work needs, plus the usage guidelines that say how to apply them: colour, typography, logo use and the rules that keep the next piece consistent. Motion work ships in the aspect ratios each platform wants, with source files on request. Websites are responsive as standard.

Yes. Web design and UX/UI sit in the same design team as identity, so the site is built on the brand rather than around it. The interface work starts with research into what people are trying to do on the page, and every site is responsive across desktop, tablet and phone.
